Wilsons fame was surpassed by the U.S. in 2014 as she landed a part on Showtimes The Affair. In the show, Wilson played Alison Lockhart who is a young, troubled girl who comes from a rough background. Lockhart falls for an unmarried Noah Solloway. Wilson was awarded a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in the Television Series in Drama 2015 together with Mauratierney as well as Joshua Jackson.
